I'm thinking about geting 2-Universal Audio SOLO/610 or 2-Avalon U5. What im trying to do is pass my beats from Reason 3.0 thru a analog pre-amp by individual instrumentals. What I want is to make them sound more richer, wider and pro. Or if yall can recommend other ways to make my Reason 3.0 beats sound as if done live. Please HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd suggest a Sebatron vmp-2000e. Runs around $1200. Rich color. A lot of character. EQ switches for tweaking. Amazing bang for the buck.

If you want beats that sound like live drums than I'd suggest drums on demand.

If you wanna make them more lively - as in less digital - run 'em through a tube channel, maybe an ART PRO GOLD or something. But I'd probably get a UAD Ultra Pak and fool around with that.

What's your current setup and what exactly is it you're trying to achieve?

Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.

I have been using Sebatron VMP-2000eVu (with Mullard tubes) to make Reason sounds more richer and organic, great pre!

Thanks for the feedback guys....I already have two pre-amps,the Hamptone HJP2 Jfet Micpre and a Universal Audio LA-610.The Hamptone is a good top pre-amp but its a solid-state and The UA LA-610 is some what of the sound that I'm looking for.The only problem is that the UA LA-610 is a single channel and I really want to know if the UA-solo610 is the same as the LA-610.Because im thinking of buying a UA-solo610 and pare it up with my LA-610 but im not sure if it has the same sound.Universal Audio 610 compared with the Sebatron vmp-2000e does it have the same sound or what are the differences they have?.
