Ive been watching for some good deals on eq's on ebay. I keep seeing orbans popping up. Anyone have any experience with these, they look good,

The blue face ones were noisey... the newer stuff is quite good.

I have two of the Blueface EQ's.
One of them lets you enable JUST the band that you want to use.

That one isn't too bad (as long as you aren't doing lots of boosting on multiple bands).

Also, the noise is additive from Bottom to Top.....so when you add High End you are boosting noise from any other bands in use.

I also have a DBX 242 (designed by Orban).
It is the one to get in my opinion. Usually $150 for a Mono unit.
