Does anyone know what the amperage for the Tampa's 12 volt AC adapter would be? I can get a new display model for $300, but it doesn't have a power adapter. I'm thinking it isn't such a great deal if I have to pay $30 for a wall wart.

Seems like a pretty cool little preamp/compressor. How would you guys characterize the sound of a Tampa? Dark, light, thin, thick, transparent, midrangy, bright? Or does it depend mostly on the mic, room and sound being recorded?

Thanks,

Tracy

I found a pdf spec chart for a bunch of M-Audio products' power supplies. Just in case anyone finds it useful, here is the link: http://www.cimplesolutions.com/other/PowerSupplyGuide.pdf
The Tampa PS is 12 volts AC and 3000mA.
