I posted before of what mic i should get.
I have pro tools LE 7 and an mbox 2 mini.

i was told the sure sm7b was the best bet...but i came across the bluebird...

idk which one i should buy.

Dude, give us some info. What're you using the mic for? Guitar? Electric or acoustic? Drums? Vocals? What style of music? Budget?

SM7 or RE20 and a bigass compressor


that's my second favorite song of all time...everything else is tied for first though.

I would not go with the SM7 unless you have a high quality preamp. I have not used the Mbox mini 2, but my guess is it would introduce significant noise, with a mic requiring a fair amount of gain.

In between what Kel and stickers said... buy an SM-58 -- and start saving for a bigass compressor.
