But hmm... seriously, the list of stuff to do with that.

1) Pay off some debt - that would be smart.

2) Stick it in the bank - although unless I could make more in income interest than I shell out in debt interest, number one is still smarter.

3) It's easy for us in this forum to support American companies (if we have to be slutty). We could put the money toward a preamp, guitar or support our local mom and pop music store. Something like that couldn't hurt.

I'll probably pay off some debt though.

It's not all that much. I'll probably get some overpriced groceries and put some expensive gas in my car (ugh) and pay a little of my horribly overpriced health insurance premium (double UGH) and if there's enough left over I could really use a couple pairs of pants (army surplus or recyclers like Ragstock are my cup of tea).

Help mama buy that septic tank.

Actually, the wife wants to use it for home improvements. I figure a big improvement would be to sell the home and get something we could pay off quickly.

I'm using mine to pay my Taxes. So they'll get it right back, and then some.

Well, we're moving in a couple weeks so probably going to use ours to furnish the new rooms. Just trying to do my duty

all mine's gonna do, is cover what i owe for taxes for the year.

don't know why i owe this year, it's all the same as last year, and i got back a little last year, but i owe as much as the tax rebate, so it's a wash for me.

oh well.

Well, I live pretty well below my means, so it doesn't really allow me to buy something I couldn't without it.

...so, likely mine goes into the bank for a rainy day. But, you know, I've bought a number of things lately that if it makes them feel better to think I'm spending "my stimulus check" on it, fine.
