Click on 'Find' and write 'eq plug ins'. I found 48 posts. There are many good eq plug ins.

I visited DOT's shop and checked out some of the hardware deals - now that's a place I should stay away from [for a while at least!].

goodjohny,

The UAD-1's Pultec for analog "warmth" & it's Cambridge for the surgical stuff, are all I'm using at this point. Though the T-RackS EQ can be nice and musical also. Wink

Voxengo has a couple great EQ plugins, one for mastering and one for track EQ. I have used the demo versions and they are very good... But I don't own them since I use the EQ built into Samplitude (which is excellent).

Check out the demo versions from www.voxengo.com Cool

I kinda like the EQ plugin built into Vegas...maybe I've just gotten used to the sound, put I find myself using that plug more often than any other...

I need a UAD-1... :-)

What you've just typed is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever seen. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on this forum is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I still haven't totally gotten the hang of the UAD Pultec. I don't have Pultec Pro or the Cambridge but my favorite EQ BY FAR is Metric Halo's Channel Strip.

All the best,

i've been using it more than cambride for the last few weeks.. that how good i sounds.. not to mention it has unlimited bands. if you ever needed a 30band eq(which would be stupid imo) you can make 30 bands. i have the other eq too. the firum. its a little odd to use but sounds good too.
i don't like their compressor.. to much sh!t. i like to keep it simple like 1176,la2a, rcomp, rvox.

Just released, for those with the card, UAD-1 Precision EQ...talk about a sweet lush sound.

Reports say it sounds like the Manley Massive Passive. I couldn't tell ya, but right now it's sounding great for sudo mastering. Wink
