I recently tried some of the Smartloops Drum Track Stereo files and they worked great with Cubase SX3.1.
So I bought the entire Multi Track collection.
I soon discovered that many of the Acid Wave Multitrack files do not work with Cubase, no matter how I set them up in the Project pool....Cubase support verified my disappointment...Major Bummer...
So Smartloops sent some of their recently released RX2 files. These work and I can get them to work closely to the same meter. I also discovered that if you want to make any loop insert changes, you have to recreate the entire track to insert a new loop or it will not meter exactly to the existing track.
The RX2 files are sliced and have the hitpoints already marked.
I was spoiled by Acid Wave files that worked flawlessy, but I'm trying to learn to use the RX2 files.

Smartloops support is great, but they don't have the fix. I was advised that they did not test this on a Cubase program but the files work well with Acid and Sonar.

FYI.....

Still Learning, One mistake at a time Smile
