this is my first post. so hi to everyone..
Can anyone explain to me, is it posibble to hook up a few USB soundcards together and make it work simultaneously? In my case, i currently have Mbox and M-Audio Ozone. Im planning to buy Line6 UX2 soon. It'll be nice if actually i can use 3 of them simultaneously. Im also asking this because if Im running up Mbox and Ozone altogether, one of them (not sure which one) will switch off by itself. Im not really sure, but i think ASIO4ALL will fix this. Am I right? thanks so much. p/s.. in this case, i'd like to run Cubase SX2 mainly. the purpose of this is to link all the soundcards to record drums. SoundReplacer or Drumagog isnt an option here. |

Well, I'm not expert on this, but since no one else has chimed in, here's my 2 cents... USB devices can't be chained (I don't think??), but regardless, you can plug several in to your computer, and generally speaking, USB is already iffy when doing audio, so trying to get several different audio or digi devices running can be very tricky and probably not worth the money. I would suggest looking at other options first. E.g., firewire can be chained for sure, and it is better for audio/sound purposes. That help? Good luck! Fox |
