Hi All,

How can I hear a track that is being recorded. What I mean is...how do I get DP to send an output of the track to the main mix during the recording (for monitoring purposes)?

In addition, how can I get that track to have reverb as I'm recording without recording that reverb?

Thanks!
Tom

LOL! I didn't have access to the manual when I posted and was trying to decide on a interface. Mackie 400f vs. Apogee duet.

I like to have a little verb on the voice when recording. After reading the manual Wink I found that you can not monitor though DP without some latency if using effects...which means hardware monitoring, which rules out the Duet...

Something I do in Cubase 4 is feed the studio mic into 2 tracks. One I record, and one I monitor. I can add all the plugin effects I want to the monitor track and feed that back into my studio monitoring mix. Since it isn't recording that track it is all realtime with no latency. Works well for me.
