Guys I need a MP3 converter for the mac...I can't seem to find one!!!!

I tried installing the LAME plugin for BIAS Peak but it's not working...help?

Here's what the whole pro community around here is using: Barbabatch by audioease (the guys that make the altiverb plugin)

This tool converts whole batches of files from and into a whole lot of different formats, fast.
And above all: it really is the best conversion quality I ever heard (and believe me, I heard a lot of em).

I bought it (it's cheap) and never looked back...

I did use iTunes...
But that's surely not the ideal solution for us pros.

Arthur, I'm gonna check out that barbabatch. I love the idea of batch converting.

There's a little app called SoundConverter that has the virtue of being very, very easy to use and seems to be quite flexible--it will convert a lot more than just .mp3 files.

PS: It's great to be running an Intel Mac, but the lack of native software is getting to be a real drag...

I use itunes (or Logic if I feel like taking 5x as long to do the same thing)
