I was having problems doing some admin stuff at iacmusic.com with Firefox and Safari. Firefox was getting hung up and doing the eternal "beach ball" thing when I was trying to edit song order and also using the Shout box on artist pages. Safari would only load less than half of the song lists on the edit pages.

So I was looking for another browser and found Camino - which is now in a 1.0 release - just released a couple of weeks ago.

It's really elegant in the way it moves. Loads pages a lot like the old Netscape - which I've always thought was the sexiest browser.

Ever since I've had Mac OS X I've never found a browser I've been totally happy with. Safari's been the best I've found. Firefox never scrolled page up/down all that well - very slowly.

Camino's looking and feeling really good so far. Check it out and take it for a spin around the internets.

Been using Camino for about a day now. Nothing about it I don't like so far. Everything works on all the sites I've surfed and used. Very fast, very smooth.

Diggin' it.

Cool, I'll check this out! I've been getting more and more fed up with FF's inability to display video--I get the infamous "Q with a question mark" way too much. There's a new version of Opera that seems to work better BTW. Been playing around with it a little.

Something that's been really fucked up about Safari and Firefox is that they haven't automatically refreshed on my computer. Meaning, that when I go into edit a post, I have to refresh into order to see the most current version. And I also have to refresh the post window in order to not be editing on top of an older edit version.

It was a real drag when I might be doing several edits - which were usually just typos corrections.

That was not a problem when I was using Explorer. But Explorer got too outdated.

Anyway, with Camino that's not a problem anymore. And the pages load so fast I often don't even see anything loading when I edit a post. I just see the changes made instantly.

Very down with Camino so far. And it's doing a better job alone than I was getting out of using two or three different browsers before.

Camino is kickin ass for me. Finally found a Mac OS X brower I'm happy with.

Here's a list of shortcuts for Camino...

I have been using it, for a couple of days after hearing about it in this post and I really like it so far, too. Thanks for the heads up.
