I changed my internal 4200rpm drive in my Latitude C640 to a Seagate 7200rpm and got myself another 500Mb of RAM reaching 1Gb and it's like a completely new machine. Wish Dell had more positive eyes for firewire though...

Not sure whacha mean, but this does have a Firewire port, which I use for my interface, coupled with a PCMCIA/FW adapter for external drives.

Dell has been slow in the past to get us firewire... I'm just outdated.. ...Stone Age Man you now...
