I'm in the dark about how to best interface AD and DA to my MBP. Don't see much pro audio info on the interwebs.

I did see this thread where Tony Belmont posted, I'm working on productions with a Macbook Pro and have a Lavry DA10 connected to it. You just have to order the special mini optical adapter. What would that be? Something like this?

Works like a charm.

I've been using an RME ADI-2 directly into my macbook for about a year now with no problems. I'm also using an Echo Audiofire for more ins and outs.
