hi folks i new to this site,i use adobe audition for stuff and ive just bought audio buddy as pre amp [before just plugged guitar mic straight into comp soundcard]its much better now and i can use condensor mic aswell,but as im still routing buddy through soundcard do you think an external one would make any more difference to sound quality ect,what i hear in headphones sound good! cheers. g.

I'm not sure I quite understand what you're looking for? Maybe an external Digital to Audio converter?

If that's what you mean, I'd say hold off till the sound no longer suits you. If it sounds good for now, keep using what you're using.

That'd be my 2 cents.

yeah mate im just wondering if it would benefit my sound even more if i used an external soundcard instead of comp built in one? chhers.g.

Ahh...I see...you meant an external sound card. I'm not sure that would really matter that much. What does matter is the quality of your current sound card. What is it?
