Anyone know of any good free/cheap RTAS plugs?
I'm always seeing great VST plugs and posts about them on all the forums, but I see none about RTAS plugs for Protools LE. I know the RTAS format has probs for designers (at least I've heard from a few) and it is only used by PT LE, but I would think with so many users out there there would be more choices in the cheap department.

I don't know how much you use or would like to use plugins, but getting a VST to RTAS adapter might be an idea. Check the FXpansion site.

Actually thinking of doing just that. I use plugs all the time since I am outboard starved (just starting up a small mobile recording biz from zip). What really hurts is verbs. I have decent dynamics (Bomb Factory mainly) and have an RNC on my short list (I already have an RNP). Thinking of going outboard with a Lexicon would be cool. It would be nice to have some options for RTAS users that didn't entail a wrapper. Have you used the FXpansion wrapper? I'm wondering if there is any wonkiness that can happen in the process.
