BTW most of recovery software works only if you run it on the local computer. You most likely won't be able to recover it working from network. Also you will need admin rights.
Does anyone know if/how I can recover these files?
Just restore from backup
As long as nothing has been saved over the HD sectors where your files used to be, they are recoverable - beyond that it gets difficult, but not impossible (how much do you wanna spend? There are specialized companies that can recover data from HD's that have seen a lot more than accidental deletion).
Way back I used to use Norton Utilities for this kinda stuff. Then at some point I started making backups.
I have no idea which tools are best for the job. FWIW, a quick search for my brother (who had the same problem about 6 months ago) didn't render anything useful in the freeware/shareware domain. He didn't feel like paying for anything so that's where his problem ended

You would have to send the drive to a data recovery place. It doesn't delete the data, it just tells the OS it's ok to write back into the area where the file used to exist. If you want any chance of saving you would have to pull the drive right away before it wrote over that area of disk.
and how to recover my files if after i suddenly sharing my folder and allow network users to change my files then the users cut from the folders. Any idea how to recover them?
