I like the old one better.. the reply-window that pops up on you is annoying... I kinda liked the houses though *is weird* Smile

I like the way the Reply window comes up in a separate window. It makes it easier to glance back at the posts in the thead. Especially if you want to copy and paste stuff from other posts.

Yes, that is the feature I like most about the new one, I'm surprised some people don't like it!

The one thing I don't like about the newer interface is the lack of the "hop to" option at the bottom, unless I'm missing something. When I visit, I hop between forums a lot.

I like the old interface alot- it is a great blend of elements of the interfaces at psw and musicplayer.

By pop-ups, I was referring to what Dusty was talking about.

Ditto. Though it seems that some of these newer features need a bit of tweaking as far as appearance goes (doesn't seem as elegent or streamlined).

I think that the new interface is better and more up to date...however, the studio forums logo needs to be redone on a white background because it doesn't look all that good...too choppy.

If you guys need some graphic design help, I'd be happy to donate a little time and effort to make this place better ;o)

Just let me know!

The Studio Forums logo was originally designed to sit on a black background, like it appears here http://www.studioforums.com and here http://theprojectstudiohandbook.com/directory.htm

And if you change it to a white background there's too much white space at the top of the forum.

Eric, if you wanna' play around with some design stuff, please feel free. I don't feel we need any new design, but am always open.

Nah. The old interface is too functional to warrant the extra keystrokes it takes to go to the new one even though I still personally prefer the new one.

Ha! That's what I say to people on our home phone when they've tried to call here and gotten a busy signal. Jazzooo said on the phone, "Man, you're like the only guy I know who I try to call and get a busy signal."

I said, "Mang, I'm ol' school." LOL!

Dan and dialuppers are the only people in the world left that still use home phones. I bet kids in 10 years will have personal cell phones from 10 on... That will be a trip.

I spent some time in version 3. I think I like the older version better. More classic. Less distractions.
