I think I fall under #2 most of the time, as well.

I will add:

call me stupid and looking to get a brick to the head, but what ARE the other recording forums that are worthwhile?

I checked out Harmony Central's recoring forum today, and there is a depressing ABYSS between the 4-trackers and the 64-trackers. Someone's discussing the coolio use of tissue paper and a comb, and another person is discussing comb filters on their mackie 128 and crap.

I found some other recording forum but the popups ran me off.

How many regulars actually post on here these days? Seems like less than 15 that I can tell.

Plus UBB is the shit and easy to use. I can't stand most other forums.... I wish this one had a few more features, but its cool. I have a cool idea about a never ending chat. Like you talk in real time and when you clicked out the stuff everyone said when you were gone would be available on a scroll up. And for the entire history of the chat. Kind of crazy, but it might work.

Oh, and whats missing from UBB is features that improve sence of community. phpBB has a lot of these features, but 90% about it is shittier.

10mbps=$40 a month. Champion broadband. Actually I only pay for 3mbps but it usually clocks at around 12.
