Hey, I can not believe I have just found this thing. Someone commented but I would never imagine I would find this so easily.

Well, I have been just deleted by the mighty mod from the Moderator team at the place you mentioned.

believe me, there are very nice people at every present forum .

I believe in democracy and freedom to express your points of view.

Jack the beer, Brad Blackwood, Nika, Ronny Morris, DC Collins are just a few of the nice guys at PSW.

At RO, David Doc, Chris, Rick Hamming, Michael P, Michael Fossemkemper, Rod Gervais, Ethan Winer are the nice people there.

GS and the DUC also have very nice people.

After over 6 months of nice job and saving someone else´s ass, a misunderstood thread at GS , in 24 hours I went from an angel to devil.

The result? being kicked out from the comoderator plug in room.

This will not change my life, it was good and it has been good, learned and taught lots of stuff, culture, gear, techniquyes, etc etc, but when intolerance/ego becomes an issue, it is time for a "change of pace".

Only been here a while, but I like the vibe alot. And as someone else mentioned the home studio users seem to be more intellegent and accepting of difference of opinion. I too am a recording.org refugee. I am actually here because of Alecio. I noticed his post there saying this is where he will be hanging out. So since I have always found him to be nice and helpful I came here.

Main thing I like - there just isnt the tension here that there seems to be at other boards.

You know sometimes those flame wars are interesting. The studio projects vs ADK on gear slutz comes to mind. Most times there not. Platform wars and product bashing get annoying real fast. To me, it sounds like most people here are taking refuge from some of those other BB's that have fallen into disarray. This place seems friendly and informed and i like that.

That might be a preliminary reason for some of us having come here. To me, it actually feels like a professional site where one can come to get unopinionated (or mostly so) guidance for the recording process. There are good people here, not that there aren't elsewhere. I don't think I've seen a flaming here (yet.) One can only get this kind of respect from professionals. Even if you are not making your income from recording, you can still have a professional attitude towards others, and their needs.
