There's a couple of other ways to get to Chat.

1. Use "Go" in the blue menu at the top of the forums. Select it and the drop down menu will show Chat.

2. http://studioforums.com/eve/chat

I've also been able get into chat and post using Safari and Firefox.

clicked on your first link, which correctly took me to the "Chat" link

I could then open up the chat window, but I'm stuck trying to Connect.

This may (or probably) is something to do with the firewalls, or authorisations here at my work. Sysadmin has turned off all "non work related" downloads including streaming audio.

I'll try at home later on using my Mac and Safari.

Apart from the connect issue, seems to look good to me....MS WIN Explorer V6.0

Well, that could make real time interaction a little difficult.

I'm using IE and was able to get in just fine... I just can't post until Dot approves my messages.

Same thing happens as Tubedriver described with IE.
Firefox works.
Ohh wait.. now 2 hours later, IE works as well.

I thought I got stuck trying to connect (I'm behind a firewall here at work) but then I got through (there aren't any siteblockers or whatever here as far as I know). I'm using Firefox and everything (links that is) works fine.
First time I tried I wasn't logged in yet and got a message saying so. Maybe it's possible to show the login page right away instead of showing the message.
Anyway, that's about it. Nice initiative, good luck.

I use netscape and all is well but I was all alone. I don't mind talking to myself cause at least someone answers.

Working fine for me - Windows 2000 / IE six-point-oh-point-somethingorother.

I'll see if it pukes under OS X Tiger 10.4.2.x/Safari 2.x when I get home...
