I must say that I have never been a part of a forum that gave away stuff just for posting. Pretty nice deal there, Dot.

Well if I can come up with 25 sensible posts, I guess it would be nice to add another one to my collection of 4 mikes, if I'm lucky that is Yay

I'd love to see one of those in daily use here...

But...

I have a real hard time posting things just to up the count to the minimum 25....

So how about an exception for us old geezers (pushing 50...REAL hard!)....make it kinda like an early bird special at Luby's or something....

I'm 53 and it's no trouble making 25 posts. Us old timers have more listening-hours and better developed ears in some cases, so we actually can have a lot more to offer.

Just post what you know to be true in your experience.

Just wondering if anyone has heard how the two Peluso mics, 22-47 or 22-251, sound?
They say the 22 47 sounds like a U47 and the the 22 251 sounds like a AKG 414?
How does the 22 47 differ from a U47?

Just curious, I was thinking about saving for the Peluso 22 47.
Anyone know of a place to test one out in New York City?

I saw the mics already on the Peluso site and wonder if it would be possible to replace the tube and electronics in the 22 47 because it seems to be the *standard* short body mic you give away probably...
But nevertheless this would be the first choice for me if i would win this giveaway.
BTW: A very nice idea! Giving quality equipment to the poor Waytogo
Kind regards

Martin

Hi Martin, there's only one 22 47 shortbody. And that's the one we're offering this month.

There are longbody versions, the 22 47 Limited Editions with a Telefunken or American tube. If you're around in December, Studio Forums and Peluso are giving away the choice of one of those for the holidays.

Thank you, Dan, for clarifying this.
Nevertheless i would stay with the 22 47, it's a very, very nice mic anyway, so i will diy the mic bodies for my M7's...
Wow, people you are mad giving away all that stuff! Now i have to stay with this forum and do roughly statistically one post per day, isn't that hard anyway...
at least for the rest of the year. BTW i found it very convenient so far to read answers to my posts in the emailer, nice feature.
I was coming here the way Mitch did and i must say i have a good time beeing here so far.

Kind regards

Martin
