Sorry to spoil the party but I've located a recording sample from Wireline dating from 1999. With new technology I've rigorously tested this sample in a French laboratory for performance enhancing effects. The tests clearly showed use of the Sonic Maximizer which is banned under TLSRF (The Listening Sessions Recording Federation) rules.

This means you are disqualified, Wireline, and Dot will have to declare another winner for this contest. And I think you owe us all an apology.

It was actually a numbered recording sample that had been kept on file but we have traced it's identity to you.

Then again Dan seems to be one of the nicest and most ethical people I know in the industry so you should probably trust his recomendation.

Unless of course the temptation for this fine of a mic is just too much....then again he is smart enough to know you might have realized that he could steer you away from his first choice and use reverse psychology on you by telling you to pick the one he wanted....

Oh well just be glad you one and enjoy the one you picked.
