The webhost, Infopop, did an Eve 1.2 upgrade a couple of weeks ago. I've found the performance here lately to be shitty. I've also noticed some little weird quirks.

Please post your OS system and browser and any comments on performance and any bugs you've noticed.

Thanks!

Mac OS X
IE 5.2
Firefox 1.0

Very sluggish performance. I've had pages occasionally take 30 seconds or more to load.

Signature's sometimes not appearing in posts.

On the main forum page - posts appearing under the "Last Post" category are often not the last post in the topic.

IE 6, Windows XP... Slow, unusable at times.

Sometimes the "latest" post is a few behind on both the main page (ubb.x) and in the individual forums.

Things are very slow in IE 5.2 for Mac.

I just switched to Firefox on Mac and it appears to be running faster.

This Eve has not run well at all on IE, and now it's even worse.

It's OK for me right now but I have noticed that the last couple weeks have been hit or miss--either very slow if not inaccessible, or running just fine.

I'm on Mac OSX/Firefox.

I'm running:

Windows XP, Home Edition
Netscape 7.1

I've seen a very noticable slow down. oft times the forum doesn't want to start at all. If I come back and try later, it usually works better. Seems to pick up speed after I get on to the site and start browsing.

Same as Dusty, both at home and work. FWIW, I'll add that both are XP SP1--no SP2. I'd say it's slow during the best times, and unusable at the worst. Whenever it's slow, I can click over to the new DPS World home and it's screaming fast, so it's not my end.

Same problems on XP home and ME. Slow. Sometimes doesn't go at all. Menu page summaries don't match the actual last post.

If only I knew 1/10th.

XP Pro, IE 6.0

No issues of note over the last 5 or 6 days...I was kinda out of the loop before then....

What you've just typed is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever seen. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on this forum is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Using Firefox 1.0.

Was really getting slow ('bout a week ago).

Today it's running just fine.

Today and yesterday it seems like it's been better than I remember it ever being over the past year.
