Man Pinnacle just bought them, what a year ago? I'm hoping this is a good thing...maybe now I'll get a drum map for the DTXtreme's.

Wonder if this is in response to Sony picking up Sonic Foundry?
I'm a Vegas/Sound Forge guy myself, and I see Sony taking the only decent multi-track product they've got and aiming it directly at the video market. I never understood why Pinnacle bought Steinberg in the first place.
Yamaha makes sense, they don't have a strong software sequencer-recorder line and the support for Yamaha products could be better in Steinberg’s products / Peter Kaersaa |
