I just grab a snapshot in the GUI Admin tool of all member's post totals at the beginning of each month.

It's up to the individual members to keep track of their posts. But any fairly active member has no problem reaching 25 posts in a month. That's less than a post per day.

I think the Post Count Thread that Flatpicker started is a good idea!

OK. So I've never claimed to be real quick on the uptake, but here's a way to keep track of your posts that I just figured out. Most of you have probably figured this out already, but for any dummies like me, check this out.

Use the Search feature. Simply do a search on your handle/name (in the Author Name field). Make sure All Forums are selected, and in the Posted Since field select Since 30 Days Ago (if it's towards the end of the month of course). Assuming Search is working correctly, you'll see the total number of posts you've done in that time period. I didn't think I'd been posting all that much for the month but was surprised to find that I'd done 32 for January.

There ya have it.
