I am doing one of my 6 day Home Recording Boot Camp MARCH 26-31 in Los Angeles and there are a couple spaces left so I am giving away ONE admission for this course to a member of Studio Forums ($1000 value). It’s a bit late but maybe this will be a good opportunity for some one with a flexible schedule. Read all the rules and regulations!!!!!!

1) Trivia: The prize goes to the first person that can tell me the name of any non King Crimson album that I have produced that features Tony Levin on bass.

2) The prize covers tuition only. No accommodations or transportation are included

3) I want this to go to a current active member of the Studio Forums community so you must have at least 50 posts on SF as of March 1 2005.

4) To claim the prize you must pay a $100 deposit via paypal. If you do not show up to boot camp we keep the deposit. If you attend the program we refund the deposit in full on the last day. The only reason I am doing this is because in the past we have done give aways and people have changed their mind at the last minute. This sucks because it takes away the opportunity from some one else. So if you are not serious please do not sign up.

Holy shit, man. I can't believe I beat you by a mintue. I spent 30 minutes trying to figure out the first (non-Crimson) album Ronan produced featuring Tony Levin (on bass)! And then just figured what the hell... That's why I said I hope! I then read that the rules state any album that isn't King Crimson... Not the first! ... Woah. I didn't breath for 30 minutes and was shaking so bad I almost fell out of my chair... and I thought since the album I chose came out in late 2000 I was probably fucked, I was assuming it was a really trick question since the prize was so sweet! I've never won anything, nor have I ever been to LA. Damn.

I'm looking at this as an omen. My parents finally got "all up in my business" about quitting my recording dream and this happends... What a trip (pun intended!).

Networking with others with similar interests.

I have never met or talked to Ronan, but as someone who absolutely loves King Crimson as one of my all-time favorite bands, I am familiar with his work. Wow and wow again......cool!

If you've never been in a major studio you are in for a real ear opener. The second you enter the door you will feel the vibe and it will be unlike other musical experience. It'll solidify your musicianhood.

There may be nothing more important in any business then networking and now you'll be in a place that affords a great opportunity to do so.

All in all this is an experience of a lifetime....Dusty, enjoy the hell out of it.

One final congrats my friend.......I'm sure you'll haven't stopped jumping up and down yet.

I'm even more excited than I was last night... Oddly enough I had my usual dreams of boobies and guitars... But I had to check the forums as soon as I woke just to be sure this wasn't a dream!

The classiest "studio" I've ever been in is my own! How cool this will be!

I don't have any King Crimson albums... I've heard a bit of Robert Fripp's work (talking heads) and I'm sure I've heard some Crimson on the radio...

What is a good, or a couple good albums to check out?
