I just found out!!
MAN, AM I STOKED!!! this is the first time ever, that i've won anything! i can't believe it.... i'm sitting here, staring at my (fairly new) ART DPS...... LOL boy, i don't know how i'll hide my crummy sounds behind a REAL preamp!  thanks for all the kind words from everybody on my win.... i'm sure others had their eyes on this thing.... wow. still blown away..... Thanks a million to DOT and all the Studio Forums people for having such a great site and a giveaway of such high caliber gear.... gonzo-x |

now I want to hear some killer recordings. You deserve it. Now I dont want to hear anymore talk about the 1880 clicks and pops. This preamp should solve all that and then some. If it sound good, I might even pick one up later on down the road. my mp3z |

and on a side note.. i DID take the effects card out of the 1880 this weekend, and re-seat it..... and it did not change the snap and pop issue.. so i WILL be sending the 1880 back to roland to get the "hardware" fix this week, but i'll have the trusty 880ex to tide me over.. so i'll probably experiment with that unit the 1880 returns... i'll definitely post tunes...... gonzo-x |

If you decide you want to dump your DPS, let me know...I might be interested in it. Or, if you REALLy like the DPS, I'll take the MP-1... ---------------------------------------------- What you've just typed is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever seen.
