Yeah, congrats Adam!

WOW! I don't know what to say, other than thank you so much Dan! And thank you guys too.

EV sent me an e-mail this morning telling me the news. I was thinking, "Get out! I never win anything. You're joking!" I thought she was yanking my chain :P

Like I told Dan via e-mail, it's pleasure enough just to hang with you guys. I'm truly an amateur recordist and it's a great thing that he runs this here, a place where an amateur like myself can ask questions, and interact with folks who are much more in the know and who are patient with dumb questions. I lurked for several months here before joining just because I was kind of afraid to ask too many stupid questions. But as I got to know you guys by your writing I figured it was a pretty friendly and down-to-earth crowd. It's much appreciated.

Now I have to figure out how to put a lunchbox together

Thanks again Dan! And to Peter too for providing these things - cheers! And thanks to you guys too for your friendship and conversations. It would be great someday to meet in person and swap more stories around a big table of beer and good food!!

Peter: You are correct, I don't have a "lunchbox" but as you might guess, that's now high on the priority list The lunchbox needs to be that which would fit an API 512 for example and not the 200-Series, correct? The 200 modules look smaller in pictures than the 500s.

I'm sure you will hear nothing but good things out of me but keep in mind that I am a rank amateur with less than ideal recording circumstances, but this will be a HUGE help when it's all set up

You can get an idea of what the current equipment sounds like with this song HERE. I wasn't completely thrilled with the outcome of this one for a few reasons, but it was a "first pass" so-to-speak. You'll get the idea anyway.

Thanks for the kind words on the song. It's kind of "thin" to me. Hard to explain. I didn't care for it too much. The structure is kind of funky and I can't stand my own voice

I got the P-1. Well-built piece of electronics, I can tell ya that much. I don't have a lunchbox as of yet, so I can't tell you much more than about the superb, high-quality look to it. Just looks very well built!

I'll let you guys know the rest when I can finally use it.
