OK...I gotz a pair of SPC1's and a pair of SP B-3's....they are the only LD's I own. Which mic, the Vienna or Hamburg would best fill in my gaps? Do I already have the "Sizzle" covered and need the warmth or the other way around? Congalocke, my impression of the Hamburg so far, is that it has less top end and bottom end (and I think that is good) than my SP B1.
The B1 gave me trouble with sibilants and I find it rather dull sounding (too flat?) on my voice. The Hamburg gives me less sibilants and lacks the muddy low end, IM(very)HO. It think it really sticks out in a mix. /Ole |
