Wow, personally I think the generosity of some with their help, advice and the sheer amount of edumacation one can receive here is something that can't be topped for value, then you go and add giveaways like this. Icing on the cake!

Not to be greedy...but...I sure could stand a 1st cousin to my current 2247....
I'm starting to aquire an expensive taste, dadgummit...Haven't used some of my previous "go-to" mics in a weeks... It is interesting....to say the least...I am starting to get a bit anxious now, as now that I have had a taste of the best out there for less than $5K, I want more....great mics and pres have become like heroin - gotta have another fix.... Peace thru superior signal processing... If Its Not A Good Idea, Then Why Am I Risking A Career With It? |

Even though the rules permit you to win the 22 47 LE in addition to your 22 47, it would be inappropriate because it would prevent me from winning it in addition to my CEM6s.

Has anyone really thought, though...if they didn't win, are you pulling for another particular forum member? I had a friend who was fighting cancer (he won the batlle - yay!) and I wanted to give him a little something to cheer him up just before his bone marrow replacement procedure.
I had just scored the deal of the century - a Microtech Gefell M71 for $250! It sounded amazing - much like the U87. It was a good investment if in some small way it was used as part of the solution to his healing process. So a Peluso would fill that empty spot nicely. |

Well, I thought about who I would want to win this mic if I did not. I could not decide. There are so many great people on this sight, and I have learned alot in the short time I have been here. I don't think there is a bad home it could go to. I know that I will be saving my lunch money to buy a few of the Peluso Mics, but it will take a long long time. If I do win, I will give my mint V67 mic away. I love that mic, but I would want to pass on the good fortune. Maybe I could do some sort of a contest, or give it to the youngest memeber.... Anyways, its a great prize and I am excited for the lucky winner, no matter who that is. JD |
