As of January 5th, 2003, we've got our own TLS forums now. The Listening Sessions has received over 80,000 hits in the first six weeks since it was launched on November 21, 2002.

Session 3 wil be recorded on January 6th, 2003 and will be online this coming week.

Session 4 - Mics Preamps DI - Drum Machine has been completely rerecorded and is now online.

I decided to go back and record the entire session. There are a few new additions, such as the Manley SLAM! Much happier with this version.

Just to give some news about what's going on - we've received a lot more mics and pres in the last couple of weeks and more are on the way.

We'll be posting some more sessions soon on MP3. We have several recorded and need to sift through them.

March is also going to be a big month for recording sessions for the first CD's we'll be releasing. We're in the process of getting the online store up and running - figuring we'll have the first audio CD's available by the beginning of April.

The Listening Sessions website has received close to 200,000 hits since we launched on Nov 21, 2002. It averages between 2000 - 3000 hits per day.

I've gotta' say that this has turned into more work than I ever imagined, but it's also a real blast. I regularly have long conversations with many of the top audio gear designers and am getting quite an education from this process.

Anyway, we're working on getting a lot of new sessions recorded and ready for prime time - and really appreciate all the feedback we're getting.

The Listening Sessions website has now received a quarter of a million hits in the first four months.

We're sorting out our recordings and will have a session available on MP3 files in the next few days.

Session 5 will be a Larrivee DV-05 acoustic guitar recorded through an ELBERG MP8 mic pre using 34+ large condenser mics.

We're also sorting through what will be placed on CD's and also setting up the CD store and distribution.

A little update:

Session 5 was recently posted and is available on MP3. The bitrate is at 192 instead of the usual 320. I'll repost the session at 320 when I get my laptop working again.

We also have more pics, and those will be posted soon in the gallery.

We've been doing a lot of recording to get the first batch of CD's ready. We'll have three CD's available initially:

1. Large Diaphragm and Tube Mics
2. Small Diaphragm Mics
3. Mics Pres

All of these have performances and sessions on them that are only available on these CD's.

I'll post more later on this, probably in its own thread.
