Wow...
I'm speechless. Trust was very "Two against Nature" IMO. Loved it.

Just one question...was the signal chain for the drums a lot like what Dot has posted in this forum on your latest recording?

Also, still want to find out how to get the latest CD. Thx.

Wow, Jonathan--

I apologize for not noticing this question earlier. Both of those songs were recorded by Rich Breen at Sony Studios in Santa Monica a few years ago. Unfortunately, I made it a point to stay out of his way and just be the artist on those sessions--it helped me focus, you know?

I can tell you that the tenor sax was played by Bob Sheppard, as pro a player as walks this earth. And the drums were by Peter Erskine, whose name should be familiar to anyone who has ever listened to Weather Report, Joni Mitchell, Diana Krall, The Yellowjackets, Steely DAn and about a gazillion others. Those are hand-made, impeccably-maintained drums recorded in total isolation with about 14 mics!

Nope--not the same signal path as the new album! (Which is available at www.dougrobinson.com.)
These tracks do pre-date Two Against Nature by a few years--should I sue?

I was whistling the melody to "Zagora" while helping a friend move Sunday. She put down her box and said: "You know, of all your songs, that's my favorite.

I said thanks. Big Grin

Just kidding, Jazz - I gave her the link.

Does that sound slightly dirty to anyone else?
