In a unique east cost/west coast cross-country collaboration, Dan Richards and Doug "Jazzooo" Robinson join forces to create a new CD of original music.

These recordings will be a combination of efforts from Doug's trio, JAZZOOO, The Listening Sessions, Digital Pro Sound and various manufacturers, including A Designs Audio, Acoustic Sciences, ADK Microphones, Azola Basses, Earthworks Audio Products, Extreme Isolation Headphones, The John Hardy Company, Millennia Media, Red5 Audio and Studio Projects.

The recording sessions take place November 8 and 9, 2003 in Robinson's San Diego studio. Dan's main challenge, as recording engineer, is to capture, at the highest possible sonic level, the intimacy and excitement of the artists performing live, given the limitations of working in a well-designed one-room home studio.
