keano, The 414 is going to have more top end. A lot of the Chinese-made mics have a presence bump around 2K. The AKG 414's actually have a dip from 1K - 2K and then boost from around 5-7K to 15K.
The K2 has a boost at about 6-7K then cuts back down until it boosts again at about 11K and then cuts sharply down after that. AKG B-XL II graph |
