is there any kind of a room analizer that will help you find trouble spots in the room. Ive heard of a computer program that will do that I think

I used the Virtual Minirator at http://www.realtraps.com/info.htm

I also used the mode calculator at http://www.realtraps.com/modecalc.htm

Then I took pictures of my room and obtained all of the dimensions. I sent this information to Real Traps and they designed the placement and sizes of the proper treatment materials.

There's always Room EQ Wizard (REW for short), but the thing is, you really don't need it unless you're treating a complex space. Most rooms are pretty predictable if you know acoustics, and a room anylizer will only confirm to me what I already know for the most part. What I'm saying is, having and using that tool isn't going to change what you're going to do to treat the room. It can be instructive though, especially to help locate the best mix position in the room.
