Dear friends,

I need to repair my Avalon 737 pre-amp
that needs a new main GAIN POTENTIOMETER.
I have contacted Avalon by fax because they dont have internet access but they dont even reply.
Does anybody know where can I find it?

Avalon "not picking up the phone" is a complaint I've hard for several cats, including the head of tech services for 2 major studios here in town, so if they're not responding to him quickly, I can only imagine how hard it is for the average joe like me to get a response.

I hope I never need service from Avlon for my 737sp. I was even contemplating the "baby face" mod to the compressor but doubt I'll bother as who knows when I'd ever get the unit back.

You're best bet is search aound and see if there are any "authorized service centers" or individuals for Avalon gear. I'm sure there is. There's a TON of Avalon gear out there.
