One of our songs "Planet" is being used for a Wendy's promotion.
It's being played for an online video about an artist from NYC who creates
her own Wendy. It's going to be used for an online video, and for
previews in the movie theatres.
Here it is:
You can see the video on YouTube here:

I love my moog rouge!
None of my newer keyboards or modules can get anywhere close to the sound of this moog.
I bought it at Dr.Sound in NYC about 8 years ago.

Nord Lead Modular 25 key - Great sounds and fun to play!!

Roland SP-808 and E-Mu XL7
The Roland SP-808 is a cool sampler. I love getting samples from old record
and messing around with them in electronic styles of music.
And, the E-mu xl-7 is suped up with some cool roms, my favorite rom is the
vintage rom that has a lot of cool electric piano and box organ sounds.

Akai S-20 Sampler
This sampler get's little sample time, but I like the sound it gets. It's an
older sampler and gets a different kind of sound than other samplers I
have tried. I like hooking it up into my groovebox to trigger samples
in it while I mute in and out, and move knobs around on the sequenced
tracks in groovebox.

Roland Phraselab mc-09.
Got
it for a good price. Haven't used it a lot yet. It's fun to mess around
with though. I want to get some old record samples, and some old
4-track tapes and sample from them into this.

Korg ES-1. This Sampler is really cool too. I like the way the knobs can really make things sound wild!

The Korg E-a1 is for synth sounds that can be tweaked with the knobs, and
the the EA-1 is a drum machine that you also tweak the drums to adjust
the sounds. It has a more analog inspired sound. So you can't get a
drum sound that sounds like a real drum set at all.
These are a lot of fun, they are really cool when you hook them up together.

Roland Dr. Groove
This drum machine sounds really cool. I love the filter's on it. I like to mix it with the groovebox too.

I love this groovebox. You have everything right there at your fingetips
to make a whole track of different sounds, drums, bass, synths, pianos,
flutes...the sounds are cool in it too.
I always have fun with this and I get a lot of cool ideas when using it.

I got this Kurzweil KR2000R on ebay for pretty cheap. It has really great
sounds in it. The sounds are warm, they have a more oldschool keyboard
sound quality to them.

This is the controller I use to run all my sounds through. It's an 88 key
Fatar. It has nice weighted keys and touch sensitivity.

One of the keyboard stations

especially for martin guitars.

I also have a full sized JP Rushing dreadnought.

Reamping

I
have 2 Radial JDI's. I had bought one, but then soon after I found one
in some bin in a Sam Ash for cheap, so I just got it. It was an older
one, looks different than the one I had bought.

I've been using the DTAR Equinox to shape the sound before going into the amp for reamping. It's working out really well so far.

C o r r i e n t e s - N e w s

******Corrientes News******

There are a few pieces of gear that have been working out really well for me.

I'm loving my AKG C414 TL-II mic.

I'm really impressed with the difference it's making on our recordings!

The Sebatron vmp2000e with mullard tubes gets used all the time in the studio. I am using it on vocals, direct guitar, to mic cabs, keyboards and even bass sounds great through it too!

The Emperical Labs Distressor is a great piece of gear and I'm understanding why it's so well liked each time I use it in the studio.

I love the Reddi Tube DI on bass and keyboard (organ/electric piano) kinds of sounds. It works really well on guitar too, but when I use it on bass I try not to use it on guitar so that it won't be the same flavor on bass and guitar.

I love Drumagog! I've been using Steven Slate Drum Replacement and it's really cool!

Oh... and last but not least! Tom's Fodera Bass! It's such a great bass! I love the way it records. I don't have to do much of anything and it just sits in and sounds great! But, I'm also using the Distressor with it and I'm thinking that that is helping a lot too.

to be continued...

Hi Adam!
Smilethanks

They're both really cool guitars!
I used the Guild on 3 of the songs that are on the "this ghost ep". I really like the sound I got with it.

Esta Larga Distancia
Hopeless
Methane Mysteries

You can listen to them here:

The recording info. for these songs is here:

I just got the Ibanez Talman recently and it's a really cool guitar. It's like a combo of a mustang, tele, and strat. Very comfortable, light. I will be using it on recordings for sure. It's what I've been using for rehearsals and I plan on using it for our shows too.

Hi everyone!

We're redoing the studio room. We're painting the room, so everything is out in our living room. I can't believe how much fit in that small room!
Now, we are going to see the best way to utilize a small space...
