Nice, but some serious mixing needs to be done there.

nbarts, really, so you have some pointers. What would you change? I would appreciate the feed back.

oops, your link automatically started playing 'I Still Think About You', so my comment was about that one.

"Why Here" sounded fine, maybe too dry.

Nice tune ...I think the drums definitely need some spicing up for energy. The entire song has an even keel... you need a climax IMHO. It would benefit from something for the listener to look forward to in the middle of the song. A simple drum reprogram would liven this up dramatically.

BLueROom, thanks for listening. I am starting to learn how to do some of the midi editing in ezdrummer, so I might go back and do a remix. I will repost it. Thanks for listening.

Drum machines still sound like drum machines. Ever notice that? Nice and realistic as every hit sounds...

Sonically, it sounds fine to me. The change up around 1:40 isn't great. For me, you either need to make it more abrupt with a stop/start clean from reverb trails...or leave some distorted power chord fading out behind the clean stuff.

The end phasey delay thing sounds a bit like a trick that didn't work. I thought my headphones were messed up.

You might also try panning the various lead guitars differently, and volume matching them as best. Some seem to be way back there...some right up front...due, I would imagine to different midrange and compression characteristics of the tones.

What happens if you play the whole song as one track using the volume knob on the guitar to change the tone?

Ya man, thanks for the insight. Actually I think ezdrummer sounds quite realistic, if I didn't know any better, I would have asked if the drums were real.

The phasey delay thing wasn't a trick, it was just where the song ended. I'll repost when I do a remix.

Peace,
