man, i think this sounds great. the only comment i have is that the kick, snare and bass could be a bit more up front. the sounds and arrangement are very very good.

I like the vibe of the tune and agree with a lot of what's already been said.

Regarding the mix, it seems too mid heavy to me primarily because the gtrs are dominating the mix. I can understand why you would have them upfront to drive the song, but they do dwarf pretty much everything else. I'd prefer to hear more thump from the bass, more punch from the kik and more crack from the snare. A little more weight to the vocal would help too.

I like the tune but I don't think the mix is quite there yet.

Yeah I'm thinking the guitars are a little too much, I'll re-mix and re-post

Here's a new mix with more bass, kick and snare, and less guitars

IMHO....I think you pulled the guitars down to much, I know I'm totally slighted to big guitars, but I felt the big guitar sound was the core of the song. I don't know where your headroom is at but if you can leave the rhythm section where it is and dial some more guitar in again, especially the second guitar in the beginning of the song. I really like what it's doing but I don't feel that it's cutting through allowing it to compliment(ride herd on) the first guitar for the first couple of measures, up to the vocal start.

Great Song Waytogo
