Dan, I am anxiously waiting your review of this piece.

I have one. It's awesome. I haven't touched my Manley since I got the Affinity. Now I am jonesing for the Faust - an HCL mic.

OK, so any verdict on this?
I'm interested in the sound and quality of their gear. They make a LA-2 clone sorta that I may be interested in

Well, my verdict is posted above. In fact I like my Affinity so much that I ordered HCL Faust tube mic and their Solution S2 Leveller. They are supposed to arrive within 3 weeks. You can check out some amateur-ish demos recorded with the Affinity here. Everything (except drums - BFD and piano - AP) on the songs starting with "Don't Let The Weather Bring You Down" was recorded through Affinity. Vocals - with R0DE NTV tube condenser. Guitars - with R0DE and AT4060 tube condensers. Bass - direct via Affinity direct input. May not be the best demonstration of the Affinity's capabilities but that's all I got for now. Once I get the Faust and the Solution I will record a lot more stuff.
