Dying to hear how this one turns out. Curious how it would shape up against the pre in the 737. Also, how do you feel about the 5dB gain jumps?

The UA website says this one is discontinued.

There may be some blow out sales upcoming as they unload inventory.

Any comments on the review Dan?

Just a bump for this one....

I have the Stereo 2-610 and LOVE it. I tried Manley, Vipre and about 20 others and this 'did it' for me.

My Gold Standard for Tube Pres is the TAB V76 so subtle transparency isn't what I was after Smile

P.S. Perhaps the best DI ever

There's this discontinued M610. The 2-610. 6176. LA610. And now the Solo610.

There are variations in all of the above in terms of features (some having pads...some EQ-and different EQ points)...but, the only thing I can say sonicly different about the circuit is per my LA610 manual--they say they voiced it "brighter than the standard 610" to compliment the dark opto comp.

If the Solo has a similar sound, for $6-700...they've got a real winner on their hands, IMO.
