I've smashed a few things with Jungers in the past, yes. Can't even remember which models though...

Eh... I see why the radio stations like them, but found them a little heavy-handed. Always been on the lookout for a nice used 01 or 02 though. I don't think I'd use it much, but it'd be nice to have.

Hard to say... It has a similar purpose. Whether it's "better" or not depends on what you're running into it and who's controlling it.
