I have heard that you should get a High Quality CD-R for burning your master. But...
A. How do you know if you have a high quality CD-R B. where do you get them? Thanks - Sef |

Tayio Yuden is almost a universal standard. Specific models of Plextor drives (the ones that run PlexTools Professional edition - none of which are actually manufactured anymore) are the universal burning standard. Or at least the standard for error checking... Clover would be the other (at around $5k per unit).
TY's are available almost anywhere... SuperMedia, ULine, RIMA, PolyLine, etc., etc., etc. |

Sorry, let me clarify... I meant the Discs... I'm probably not at the level to be spending 5k on a burner yet

That was just the answer to "how do you know if you have a high-quality CD-R."
I'm not spending 5k on a Clover drive either... But the Plextor drives are getting more and more scarce -- Can't even locate NOS units anymore... |
