Ive been thinking about buying a tascam 1000, can someone explain to me how you would master a dsd disc. I still have to master some of my own things. I have waves L3, sony oxford inflator and limiter, and Uad precision eq. When do you switch back to pcm. Is there a advantage to dsd. Hope these arent stupid questions

If you're working ITB only, there might not really be an advantage. If you're summing through a buss compressor or analog summing buss, there's not too much that can touch it.

No particular answer there... You convert it back to digital when your analog processing is done. If you aren't using any analog processing during the mastering process, there you go. If you're sending it out for mastering, make a copy of the DVD and send it out.
