Hi Folks,

Iam looking for a little advice on basic installation procedures for Izotope Ozone 3.

I have downloaded the 10 day trial and will probably buy if I can get decent results, problem is I am a complete novice when it comes to plug ins so I don’t really even know the basics of how to install it.

I am using cubase SX and getting pretty decent mixes ….I just need the extra polish for CD replication.

After a little more practice I will most likely get into making up my own presets but for now I just want to install and use the factory presets to get a decent mastered mix of my tracks.

So in short I need an idiots guide to installation and basic use…..I know there are excellent tutorials on the ozone site which I am wading through but they don’t cover these very basic steps.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers.

Trying to get a little "extra polish" out of Ozone is like swatting a fly with a cannon. The native SX3 processing is worlds better (IMO/E).

In any case, forget about the presets - Do what the mix tells you to do. Presets show you what the *plug* does (usually in a very obvious and intrusive manner).

Installing it is like any other plug -- If in doubt, check the Cubase manual.
