I have a the following setup: asus P5P800 intel 865 pentium 4 3gig 1gig ddr ram Texas Instrument ieee 1394 Radeon 9200LE sec 5 meters of 6pole Firewire cabel. Recording software is Sampletude V8 rev 02 im a composer and the way i have to work is that during recording i'm stil composing and using plugins to help create the right atmosphere. the problem is that i ceep on having dropouts whatever buffer settings i use. I have a best running system if i use 8 buffers buffersize 16000. for plugin setting i use best performance. if i say that this is my best setting i realy mean here i have the least dropouts. I've also noticed that using the windows performing monitor at the moment that i have a dropout in the list of processes there is one proces aded. problem is i can not see what this proces is. I hope that some one is capable enough to give me some advice thanks folk andy |
