heyy guys got a few questionz 4 all the pros ? after u finish ur recording or mix what does mastering involve

1st i know u mix down..could u list the things involved in the mix down eg

1) equalizing

2) ---

doesnt have 2 b in order mite b easyer 4 me

just wanna know so i can do more research as im no pro at it and trying 2 teach myself with ur help will b using cool edit pro 4 most of it if it does what i need it 2 do

There's no way to answer that question... Assuming you're asking about *mixing* you might want to post in the recording forum.

If you actually *are* asking about mastering, I go back to their being no way to answer it. You need to know how to listen, how to use your tools, and how the tools translate to what you hear. You listen to a mix, and the mix tells you what to do. If it isn't telling you, then you need to go back to learning to listen.
