Just a bit confused -- Is this a multi-track thing, or are you trying to extract a higher vocal from a 2-track mix?

Hi John
Thanx for your reply yes its off a muti track recorder let me explane it has 16 channels but more inportently 8 inputs i used 7 of them i used imput 1 and 2 for guitar imput 3 and 4 for vocols imput 5 and 6 for drums imput 7 for bass while recording was using the gains and faders 2 raise and lower if needed ( was a live band) then messed round with it as best i could then recorded it 2 cd then listened 2 it every thing sounds good but vocals are all still low just incase u ask yes i did raise the fadders on vocols all the way up is there any other way i could just raise the vocals even using sum kind of software? to do it thanx Chuck |

Just lower everything else and export. Worry about the overall volume later.
