I am brand spanking new to recording. I have been listening to several podcasts on the subject and discovered this resource when it was mentioned on the prodject studio podcast. I see posts dating back to mid 2005 and I would like to start the course from the start but I don't see how. Little help please?
Go to BAM's site and start from his first units I guess.
But honestly, this course has been dead in the water for sometime now. It was a great thought but has been sporadic in updates - new units - and it's hard to stay tuned to it.There wasn't enough consistant input to keep me interested. I guess Bruce is busy and that's a good thing.

I do get busy and unable to write and post but hope to be able to make up for lost time.
Start by listening to the music you like with specific consideration to overall bottom, top, width, vocal placement, and dynamics. Then stay tuned to the site (and receive update emails by signing up) for new units and specific directions to get the most from what is posted.
I intend to add more structure and even some quizes, but for now I'm keeping the units self-contained rather than too dependent on a specific order.
