I've had a Urie 1178 for a few months now and not even tried it out! Does anyone sell/make cables to use with this unit? It has screws on the back, rather than actual sockets and I'm too lazy to make my own!

I'd be connecting it to my Buzz Audio MA2.2 via the balanced XLR outputs and also the 1/4" non balanced outputs. I'd then go from the Urie into the 1/4 inputs on my soundcard. The MA2.2 Does not have inserts.

I'm sure one of our tech wizards can come up with an easy how-to that will allow you to cut and strip mic cables. It should be easy.

Do not be afraid of unusual connectors. Just read the manual and carefully screw the wires in.
